Course Overview
Beginning
Keyboarding
Student will learn the standard keyboard and the 10-key numeric
keypad and will understand the essentials of good technique for
building speed and accuracy in keyboarding.
Keyboarding
Applications
Review of the keyboard, proofreading, and word processing
techniques. Presentation of memorandums, email, personal and
business letters, envelopes, letters of application, resumes,
outlines, reports, manuscripts and tables.

Speed and Accuracy Improvement I
Students practice various drills and timed writings to assist them
in reaching their required skill level in keyboarding speed and
accuracy.
